The names of nominees for Poker Hall of Fame in 2025 are revealed!
May 6, 2025 in Las Vegas the 49th and 50th honorary members of the club will enter the Poker Hall of Fame. This year the nominees are John Juanda and Jennifer Harman – the professional poker players. Their dedication ceremony will be held at 19:00 pm by local time in the entertainment complex “Binion's Gambling Hall & Hotel”.
Traditionally, only decent players, with great gambling experience become the lucky ones, which affect all the poker fans and fulfill them with inspiration for their own deeds. Thus, the 50-year-old mother of two, Jennifer Harman, became the first woman, who won several gold championship bracelets at Open Poker Tours. Her total tournament earnings during the entire gaming career is over $3 million and, at the same time, Mrs. Harman twice participated in the final tournament games in the «World Poker Tour» series and once reached the final game of the 12th World Poker series season (WSOP).
The incredible popularity and, of course, gambling achievements Jennifer, who is native of Reno (Nevada, USA), has won thanks to her passion for high bets. More than ten years of her career Jennifer has dedicated to the game for high stakes. Now Mrs. Harman plays professional poker the most of her time, and gives the received income to charity. She supports the National Kidney Foundation and the Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
The second nominee, natively from Indonesia, John Juanda is not the most talkative gambler from the professional poker players. Nevertheless, his poker achievements speak for themselves and much louder than any eloquent words. By his 44 years, Mr. Juanda gathered tournament winnings at total amount of more than $17 million. In addition, he has 5 championship gold bracelets after the games series (WSOP) and many titles for series of poker tournaments: European Poker Tour, APT, PPT, WPT and others.
The geography of, silent professional gambler, John Juanda’s big victories covers the whole Europe, Asia, Australia and North America, where he moved for permanent residence in 1990. Soon in 1997, after receiving a master's degree, Mr. Juanda starts to steadily increase his income from professional poker. Since that time he gained a reputation of the most consistent player of the last decades.
