Video slots in Vietnam airports!

It has become a world fashion trend to establish entertaining slot machines in airports and other stations. The American state Pennsylvania joined the ranks of advanced countries last week. State Committee on gambling supervision decided to allow the installation of slot machines at the international airports. However, there are now only six of them in Pennsylvania. As for Vietnam, the same upgrade awaits to be established in 11 international airports.

Recently, an initiative has been filed in the Vietnamese Government with a request for the installation of slot machines on the of the airport terminal territory. The initiators of the proposal were corporations of airports. The government never hide its interest towards gambling business and asked the Ministry of Finance to carry out a deep inspection of the gambling spheres and take the analysis of the government agencies reviews and politicians points on this issue.

Officially, the decision is still pending, but this week the representative of the Prime Minister of Vietnam concluded that the government is inclined to endorse the idea. It is expected that the local companies will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of the video slots, and the process of implementation of the idea will be paired with a few restrictions.

For example, slot machines can be installed only in specially designated and properly equipped places. Access to video slots will only receive the tourists who travel from the country or transit passengers waiting for their flight at the airport. Locals, as before, will not have the right to visit gambling establishments. It is noteworthy that there in the country now are 43 successfully operating gaming halls with slots and eight small casinos.
