When you really want to win the lottery
Lottery today have become so popular that every second person bought a lottery ticket at least once and every seventh player won. Most fans of the gambling lottery craze perceive it as an integral part of their daily lives and even like one of the decencies. In some countries, the purchase of lottery tickets is transformed into a festive family ritual that brings a guaranteed, albeit small, but pleasant surprises. In other places lottery is converted into a tool for earning easy money. One of such original situations occurred last week in the Russian Federation.
According to news sources, recently the police officer detained inventive employee of cellular communication salon in the city of Perm. He was accused of stealing lottery tickets from his workplace. The tickets are worth in total of more than 2 000 000 rubles (30 000 dollars).
It is learned that 23-year-old young man for almost two months (March and May) were stealing lottery tickets, which were intended for distribution. Due to his official position the Perm resident has an access to all the tickets in his workplace and defalcate them in unlimited quantities.
After stealing a large number of tickets, the young man participated in the drawing, and the number of tickets, which he held, gave him the opportunity to get guaranteed prizes of various sizes. This uncomplicated scheme has borne fruit, as a result, he scraped together the winning tickets worth in total of more than 300 000 rubles (more than 4 000 dollars).
Today, in relation to the light-fingered resident of Perm is prosecuted under the relevant article of the Russian Federation Criminal Code "Fraud in a large scale, committed by a person using his official position". In the present case the court proceedings are conducted and, if easy money lover is found guilty, he will face imprisonment of up to six years.
