Family couple from Kearney won Mega Millions lottery jackpot. The gamblers hit big score scooping $19 Millions. Soon after hitting the jackpot the family couple moved from the native town. 50-year-old Karl Herkert and 42-year-old Barbara Matta won the 26^th April lottery draw. After the taxes they will receive $9,4 Millions. It was reported by the lottery officials.

The lucky ticket was sold in Dollar Subs store. Employees of the outlet said that Karl and Barbara have already moved out from Keraney. The man was the loyal customer of the store. The owner said, “Karl was really sweet person. I remember the day when he came to buy his lottery ticket. He wanted to buy PowerBall ticket but one of our employees game him Mega Millions. Therefore I can say that he has won by mistake”.

When Mr. Herkert found out about the winning he ran down the street and screamed. Some of the neighbors even called the police. They fought that the man was drunk or crazy.

Dollar Subs employees added that Karl lost his job in 2008. He could find a new job but approximately one year ago he started to work as truck driver. Thus lottery winning came in time. By the way the store was also generously rewarded. Dollar Subs received $30 000 as a bonus for selling the winning ticket.
