Wisconsin Resident Hit Lottery Jackpot Winning $389 000

Record-breaking Powerball Lottery jackpot still drives USA crazy. It was reported that Wisconsin residents bought several lucky tickets winning small amounts of money. $590,5m jackpot was grabbed by unknown person in Florida. Several gamblers from Wisconsin won $40 000 and $10 000. Residents of Antigo and Milwaukie grabbed $1 m. prize each. 

However this is not the end of the story. 74-year-old Barbara Bednar won Wisconsin Lottery’s Badger 5. The woman told that she has been constantly buying $1 quick pick lottery tickets during the whole year. Finally she got some luck winning $389 000. Barbara told, “It was absolutely unreal! I couldn’t’t believe!” The lucky ticket matched all 5 numbers of lottery draw. It should be mentioned that Bednar hit the biggest jackpot in the whole history of Badger 5. This lottery started in 2003. 

Happy Barbara told that she is going to renovate her house. The woman explained that they started renovation works but the process didn’t go as fast as they wanted due to the lack of funds. Well, it seems like Bednar couple will be able to finish renovation quite fast; after taxes they will receive $261 000. In addition Barbara wants to buy new Chrysler 200 and give her old car to her daughter.
