Lottery Winners Came Back from the Sea Trip to Take Jackpot Money

The Browns senior couple recently went to a long-planned sail trip. They wanted to spend 10 weeks in the sea. However they had to come back to the shore having found that they scooped progressive jackpot of the local lottery. The Browns became millionaires winning more than 6 Millions pounds. Ipswich residents had to come back spending in the sea just 6 days. 

Richard and Cathy just reached Newcastle Marina when they found out about the winning. Retired journalists told that they have been dreaming about sea vacations for 19 years. New millionaires briefly told about their plans on the press-conference held in Ipswich harbor. Richard said that they are going to celebrate their winning.

“We won’t do anything crazy for sure but we want to spend some money” – said Mr. Brown. For instance they want to buy new yacht. Richard also thinks about purchasing of new Porsche car however Cathy is quite happy with her Volkswagen Passat. The Browns also think about buying a mansion in the countryside. They had to sell their house to buy the yacht in 2005. 

The Browns don’t have children but they would like to share their luck with relatives. Cathy told, “We have enough money for the rest of our lives. And we are going to make presents to our family. We have nephews and nieces with kids. We would like to help them. We will ask them what they need. We don’t want to dictate anything. 

After scooping the jackpot the Browns started to plan new sea trip. Mr Brown shared his thoughts, “I am not fan of long lasting sea trips therefore we won’t start around the world cruise. However I would like to visit Canada to see Northern Lights and Rome with its ruins”. 

It should be mentioned that the lucky winners had their own strategy. They have been playing lottery 2 times per week since 1994. They always used the same numbers – 3, 5, 25, 33, 34 and 35. Richard found out about the winning on the board. He used special smartphone application to check the numbers of the lottery. “Cathy was sitting behind me and she saw that we matched 4, 5 and 6 numbers. I turned my head and told her that she became a millionaire. She still says that I am too calm. She said I should be more excited”.
