Mark Radoja Won Heads-Up WSOP Event

Heads-up World Series of Poker is considered to be one of the most interesting tournaments of the series. It was Mark Radoja who triumphed at heads-up WSOP 2025 event. He has beaten strong player field and earned his second gold bracelet of the series. On the way to the top he knocked out Phil Helmuth, Justin Bonomo, Don Nguen and other reputable poker players.

He went thru 8 rounds of the tournament. Don Nguen was the last opponent of Radoja. It should be mentioned that the Canadian won his second WSOP bracelet during last 3 years. Moreover he reaches final tables of WSOP events during last four consecutive years. Mark became the fifth player from Canada who won WSOP 2025 bracelets.

“I consider this triumph special. It was more valuable than previous one, it was different, I faced really strong players. There were less participants than the previous time but I faced many professionals. It is just unbelievable”, said Radoja. “The format was perfect. We needed to have skills and luck to win. Just have a look at the player field! Extremely difficult to beat, many strong players! I am happy that I managed to get to the top”.

The last round of the heads-up tournament was extremely interesting. Nguen took the lead beating Radoja’s 99 with K6. However the future champion managed to come back and knocked his opponent out. During the last hand of the tournament Radoja caught his king on the river. He had K9 and Nguen held A3.
