79-year-old Man from the USA Hit Lottery Jackpot

Wylie Craig has been buying scratch-off lottery tickets for many years. And the Fortune finally paid off; the man won $125 000 hitting jackpot. However 79-year-old man joked that “the luck has nothing to do with my winning”. He also said that he has been buying lottery tickets since 2002th. The odds of hitting the jackpot was 1 to 495 000.

“I have been chasing the ticket so long! I am the retired truck driver. And I have to say that the winning is the best surprise for long time”, said Wylie. He also told that he has not decided yet what to do with the money. The man might buy a new car and “do something fun”.

Usually lottery winners don’t tend to tell about themselves keeping privacy. But this is not the case. Mr Craig didn’t want to stay anonymous. He even posted his photo and said, “I want people to know that it is possible to hit lottery jackpot”. Probably residents of Rock Hill will rush to local supermarkets buying lottery tickets. The man recalled that he was shocked when he found out about the winning. It is interesting that this is not the first winning of Wylie. The man has won before twice but his score was roughly $500.

The daughter of Mr Craig said that her father came and asked her to drive him to Columbia where the nearest Lottery Office was located. The woman was surprised with the request. But she became even more shocked when she saw the winning ticket, “he just pulled the ticket and I couldn’t believe it! Oh my god, that’s all I could say!”.

Wylie’s daughter added that the winner was absolutely calm and didn’t rush to take the money, “We went to Columbia on Monday but he had come to me with the ticket on Friday. As soon as we’ve come back to Rock Hills my dad didn’t even want to go to bank! He decided to take a nap”
