Adam Foster Won Empire State Championship Poker Tournament

Adam Foster won Empire State Hold’Em Championship Main Event. The poker tournament was held at Turning Stone Casino. Forste was rewarded with $154 958. There were 426 participants. They have generated $619K prize pool.

It was also the launch of new poker-related TV-show “Poker Night in America”. Authors made some shots during the poker tournament. The show will be the mix of poker tournaments and high stakes cash games. Todd Anderson and Andy Rich who also created Heartland Poker Tour are the authors of the new project. Nolan Dalla who is media director of WSOP was also one of the idea creators.

The filming took place during Empire State Championship, high stakes cash games and even on the private jet flying from Las Vegas to New-York where the tournament was held. The cash session started with $25/$50 blinds and the min buy-in was $5000.

David Williams, Eli Elezra, Mike Matusov, David Levy, Greg Muller, Phil Laak and many other reputable pros were taken on the plane by authors of “Poker Night in America”. All mentioned professional players took part in the tournament. Shaun Deeb, Dwight Piligrim, Darvin Moon, Dennis Phillips and Matt Glantz joined them. They were on the East coast of the USA. By the way, three stars of “Poker Night in America” reached the final table of Empire State Hold’em Championship. Darvin Moon finished 8th ($13 946), Glantz took 6th place ($26 000) and Will Faila got knocked out 5th ($32 851).
