Studio City Makau was named "Casino of the Year 2025"

The youngest entertainment complexes in the Macau casinos family, which opening we recently announced, was designed in the style of magic and dedicated to Hollywood movies. In the current 2025 year Studio City Makau at the ninth awards ceremony of International Gaming Awards received the highest recognition and popularity. It was named the best integrated gaming and entertainment complex.

Let’s remember that the winner of the "Casino of the Year 2025" award, along with another casino in Macau is owned by Asian gaming giant Melco Crown Entertainment Limited. That was not just a victory, but another (8 company’s reward for past 8 years) striking sign of the global gaming excellence.

How was the nomination performed and the winner determined?

It is no secret that in order to obtain the so much desired title a casino should be a truly remarkable institution. And it was hard to believe that such a young (casino was opened on 10.27.2015) gaming complex could claim victory. Still the jury assessed hundreds of different casinos and entertainment centres around the world. They were to pay attention to all the aspects – from the exterior of buildings and interior design to the lists of offered services, the level of this service, and even the atmosphere of each assessed institution. Studio City won the hearts of the independent members of the jury not only because its spectacular views and quality services, still it fascinated the competent juries with an unusually wide range of innovative non-gaming entertainments.

The scope pf the entertainment zones is amazing – it’s the highest in the world Ferris wheel, and the only one in the Asian hemisphere Magic Theater of constant action, and the most modern 4D simulators, themed playgrounds in Warner Bros. style and even the original pool with unusual twists and waterfalls close to the chic artificial beach.

In addition, Studio City Makau received a whole series of awards and recognitions. Thus, the CEI Asia Magazine called the entertainment complex "The best new institution", a cool Asian travellers site Ctrip found it "The most anticipated opening in Macau" and Lonely Planet officially named Studio City “The most desirable place to travel in 2025.”
