Happy End in real life!

When you have a goal and work hard to achieve it and truly believe in its realisation, the whole Earth forces will help you in its implementation. Such luck happened to one family from the town of Whittlesey, which is in the eastern England. They won a huge jackpot last Wednesday. Lorraine Daniels and her father Derek Daniels, who recently turned seventy years old, won more than 729 thousand dollars.

And today it’s surprising not about the very family got to be so lucky, still about the matter how wonderful and appropriate could be the gifts of fate. Nowadays many people win large sums of money in the national lottery, but for some people, these winnings are truly a new chance for a new beginning. Lorraine’s family became the clear confirmation of this fact, because they had passed through the awful ordeals of fate. And the thing is, that the daughter of the winner, a six years old Lotus, according to doctors, is hopelessly ill.

Three years ago a girl was artificially induced into a coma. Because of the constant seizures, which occurred more than three hundred times a day, the child could not continue the activity. A little later, an operation, which lasted nine hours and was accompanied by complications, was performed and resulted in the case when the surgeons had to remove the right side of the child’s brain. It is not surprising that doctors’ forecasts at that time were categorical and not reassuring. But as Lorraine said, Lotus "simply stunned all the doctors" who were sure that the girl’s quality of life will be very limited.

Only through the efforts of brave mother, who became clock carer for her daughter, Lotus today have achieved incredible success. She learns to walk again and to communicate in sign language. Unfortunately, the seizures are not completely disappeared, and Lotus cannot cope with them alone. Therefore, the mother had to sleep next to the girl. To do this they needed a special bed, the money for which helped to collect one of the charitable community.

Now Lorraine and her father are going to give the money to this "wonderful" social charity organisation. They sincerely hope the money will help others, as well as good people help them in their need.

The most interesting thing in this story is that Lorraine and her father, while continuing buying lottery tickets, usually used the combinations of numbers, directly or indirectly associated with Lotus – whether it was her date of birth, weight or any other data.

Today, they are extremely happy and even plan to go on vacation. When speaking about the happy moment they learned about the prize, Lotus’s grandfather recalls: "We were taken aback by such surprise and could not utter a word. We thought only about the fact that now everything is more possible and our concerns about the Lotus’s future disappeared somewhere".

Now we know that such "happy ends" are also possible in real life!
