Man Who Has Barely Survived After Heart Attack Won $1 Million

43-year-old Osawatomi, Kansas resident won $1 m. during the latest PowerBall lottery draw. The man is really lucky. He nearly died 1,5 years ago when he was clinically dead after suffering cardiac arrest. Nelson Worley managed to survive and just one week ago the Fortune paid him off awarding $1 million. “First and foremost I am happy that I am alive. I have never been thinking about winning a million dollars”, man said. He also added that he has not received his reward yet.

Worley was driving a go-cart in Olathe when his heart stopped beating. Another go cart racing track visitor saw Nelson suffering and rushed to him. The young man was giving Nelson CPR until ambulance arrived. Mr. Worley’s wife Shannon told, “We are lucky that he is still alive. He is wonderful husband, father and provider. He deserved long life”.

It is reported that Mr. Worley runs a small business. Nelson and Shannon have 5 children and one grandchild. The lucky couple is going to use lottery winnings to pay mortgage, buy something for the grand child and invest some money.

It is interesting that just a month ago Nelson decided to change his lottery strategy. Previously he used his computer to pick lottery numbers. But then Mr. Worley wanted to do it himself. Therefore he started to buy two lottery tickets. One was still for computer-based pick. However $1 million. Ticket was filled by the computer.

Nelson could win even bigger amount of money. If the man would have guessed the extra Powerball number he would hit the jackpot which is $141 millions! “I could be disappointed but why? I am very happy!” said Mr. Worley.
