Indiana Hairstylists Agreed to Split Lottery Jackpot after the Lawsuit

A settlement between the group of gamblers has ended a lawsuit held in Indiana, USA. A group of former co-workers said that Christy Shaw tried to get the jackpot despite they agreed to split all possible winnings of Hoosier Lotto. At the same time Christy said that she has bought the jackpot awarding lottery ticket worth $9,5 m. for herself. Therefore she was not going to share her winning.

Former co-workers of Christy insisted that they had the deal. The winner said that she didn’t know about the agreement made between the hairstylists. But the gamblers had to make the settlement. Otherwise none of them would receive the money. Indianapolis court prohibited Hoosier Lottery paying the jackpot unless the disputes are resolved.

The details of the settlement were not reported. However Christy Shaw said that every involved person received something. Margie Day-Brugh who was also in the group of gamblers told that everyone received enough money to quit job.
